Breezy & Relode Overview

Many customers use Breezy as their ATS in conjunction with Relode. This article will provide you best practices for leveraging both systems effectively and efficiently. 

Hiring Workflow

Below are best practices for leveraging both Breezy & Relode for each stage of the hiring journey. BreezyHR customer must have API Access in their BreezyHR account to enable the connector with Relode. Typically customers must contact the BreezyHR sales team to add this to their subscription.

Opening Jobs in Relode

In order to receive candidates from the Relode network of recruiters, you need to create your open jobs in Relode. There are two ways you can do this:

  1. Enable the Breezy + Relode Connector
    • All open jobs in Breezy will show as pending in Relode 
    • You will need to add choose which jobs to mark as open in Relode and add additional details to the job that were not included in the job description
      • You can either do this by logging directly into Relode or notifying your CSM which of your pending jobs to open
  2. Manually create your jobs in Relode

Best Practice:

As a Breezy user it is recommended you leverage the Breezy + Relode connector.

Receiving Candidates from Relode 

When a qualified candidate is submitted to one of your jobs from the Relode crowd of recruiters, they will appear in your Relode account and you will receive a notification email from Relode.

You have two options on how these candidates can be transferred from Relode to your Breezy account:  

  1. Automatically via the Breezy + Relode Connector
    • When the connector is enabled all candidates from Relode will appear in your Breezy account 
    • The  Breezy + Relode Connector article has details on what data points transfer for each candidate
  2. Manually by copying & pasting the candidate information into your Breezy account
    • If you choose not to enable the Breezy + Relode Connector you will need to manually copy all the candidate information and manually create a candidate in your Breezy account

Best Practice: 

As a Breezy user it is recommended you leverage the Breezy + Relode Connector to transfer your candidates. This will save you time and ensure data accuracy for your candidates.

Providing Candidate Feedback 

Once you receive a candidate from Relode providing your feedback is critical to ensure you continue to receive quality candidates. This feedback is reviewed by your CSM and is also shared with the recruiter(s) who are working on your job in order to improve the types of candidates you receive. 

Here is how you provide feedback on candidates: 
  1. In your Relode account, on the candidate profile choose the "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" to indicate if you like this candidate
  2. Add a feedback comment as to why you are giving this candidate a thumbs up or down - the more specific you can be the better 

Best Practice:

Provide feedback within 24 hours of receiving a candidate and provide specifics on why they are or are not a good fit.

Managing Relode Candidates to Hire

Once a Relode candidate is in your Breezy account you will leverage your normal hiring workflow to determine if this candidate is a good fit for your organization. It is important for your Relode CSM to have visibility into the status of the candidate so they can keep the recruiter(s) who sourced your candidate(s) informed. 

The Relode recruiter(s) are staying in constant communication with the candidate to keep them engaged in your hiring process to improve your odds of getting a hire. It is important for them to have the most up-to-date information about the candidate so they can set the correct expectations. 

There are 3 ways you can keep your Relode CSM informed: 
  1. Daily update the candidate status in Relode 
    • Log into your Relode account and add all interviews and notes about the candidate's status 
  2. Include your Relode CSM on all communication with the candidate 
    • Any time you communicate with a candidate from Relode cc your CSM on this communication  
  3. Add your Relode CSM as a Hiring Team member in your Breezy account 
    • This allows your CSM to keep tabs on the Relode candidates without adding any additional work to your team
    • When you grant your Relode CSM access to Breezy as a Hiring Team Member you can choose what job openings they can see candidates for. To do this:
      • Add your Relode as a Hiring Team Member Breezy: Managing Users on your Breezy Account
      • Then for each open role Relode is helping you with, add your CSM as a Hiring Team Member, this gives them limited access to only view candidates: Hiring Teams

Best Practice:

Provide your CSM access to your Breezy account as a Hiring Team Member on all jobs Relode is helping your recruit for so they can stay up to date on the status of all Relode candidates.
