Benefits of the Lever + Relode Connector

With this connection, Relode customers are able to automatically import jobs from Lever into Relode and immediately receive submitted candidates from Relode. Enabling the Lever connector saves time and reduces data entry. How the Lever + Relode Connector Works

Jobs

Once the connector is enabled, Relode automatically synchronizes all publicly posted jobs from Lever for your organization. These jobs will initially appear in a pending status in your Relode client portal. Each job will have the following information from Lever: 

  • Job title 
  • Job description 
  • Job location 

You have two options for engaging the Relode crowd of recruiters to assist in sourcing candidates for your jobs.

  1. Select the job(s) of interest, edit them to provide some additional basic information (key qualifications, salary, etc.), and request its broadcast through Relode.  Your assigned Relode Customer Success Manager (CSM) will be notified, validate all information, and send it to the Relode crowd.
  2. Or simply send a message to your assigned Relode CSM with the job titles and locations to broadcast through Relode.  If these jobs have already been discussed in previous conversations, Relode will complete the job information and send it to the Relode crowd on your behalf.  

In Relode you can structure your jobs using departments, offices, or business units to match your hierarchy in Lever. If this is something you are interested in, please discuss this with your Relode CSM and they can advise on the best way to structure your Relode account.

Candidates

Once the connector is enable, submitted candidates from the Relode crowd of recruiters will be automatically added to your organization’s job in Lever.  These candidates will have the following information from Relode:

  • Candidate contact information
    • First name
    • Last name
    • Email 
    • Phone number
  • Resume 
  • Notes about the candidate including
    • Career highlights
    • Desired salary
    • certifications & licenses
    • skills 
    • education
    • Languages
    • Interview ability
    • Willingness to relocate or travel 
    • Available start date 

As you process candidates from Relode in Lever, your Relode CSM  is automatically notified of status changes should you need further assistance.

These candidates are always accessible from your Relode client portal, as well.

Setting up the Lever + Relode Connector 

To complete the setup steps you will need Administrator Access in Lever. To enable the connector there are 3 quick steps for you to complete:

  1. Determine what user will be associated with Relode Candidates
  2. Enable the API Access in Lever
  3. Submit the Lever setup form to Relode 

The setup should take approximately 10 minutes. 

Step 1: Decide what user in Lever will be associated with all Relode Candidates

  1. Log into Lever as an Administrator 
  2. Go to Settings 
  3. Click on the Active Users tab
  4. Review your list of users, decide which user you want Relode candidates to be associated with 
  5. Copy the name and email of this user
  6. Open a word document or a note, and Paste the name & email key to save it
    1. You will need this key for Step 3 

Step 2: Enable API Access in Lever

  1. Log into Lever as an Administrator 
  2. Go to Settings in the upper right corner
  3. Click on the API Credentials tab
  4. Click on the Integrations and API page
  5. Create a new API key with the following permissions:
    • Read: Check all permissions.
    • Write: Check all permissions except for Delete/Remove permissions.
  6. On successful creation, you will be presented with a new API key to copy 
    1. Click Copy 
    2. Open a word document or a note, and Paste the API key to save it
      1. You will need this key for Step 3 

Step 3: Submit the Connector Information to Relode

Once you are ready for the connector to be enabled, submit this form to the Relode team. 

  • Your Lever + Relode connector will be enabled within 3 business days of submitting your information 
  • You will need the following information to submit the form
    • The information gathered in step 1 & 2 
      • The name & email of the Lever user who will have Relode candidates associated with them 
      • The API Key from Lever
      • Your career page URL 
    • A default status for all Relode candidates to be created with
